Core tasks
- Clean basin and vanity surfaces.
- Clean the agreed toilet surfaces, including the exterior base where accessible.
- Clean the bath or shower surfaces included in the visit.
- Wipe mirrors and reachable fixtures.
- Clean selected handles and switches appropriately.
- Empty bins if included.
- Remove loose debris and clean the floor.
Move personal items yourself or agree how they will be handled. Cabinet interiors, drawers and organising toiletries should be separately booked.
Shower and bath detail work
Describe soap residue, mineral marks, glass treatments and the condition of grout and caulking. Ask whether extra buildup removal is included in maintenance or priced as detailed work.
Coated glass, natural stone, acrylic and metal finishes can have different restrictions. Provide installation or care instructions where available. Do not assume an acidic descaler is suitable for every surface.
Separate cleaning from repairs
Loose caulking, leaks, damaged grout and a failing finish need attention beyond cleaning. If a mark returns quickly, discuss the cause instead of repeatedly increasing product strength.

Keep product use controlled
Do not combine toilet cleaners, bleach, descalers or other products. Follow the label and ventilation instructions. Health Canada explains why bleach must not be mixed with other cleaners.
Review the result
Inspect the fixtures and surfaces you agreed to have cleaned. A mirror streak, missed floor area and damaged finish are different issues. If disinfection was requested, the process and product instructions matter; appearance alone does not verify it.
